EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (EOI) ADVERTISEMENT

As part of its strategic thrust to stimulate economic activity and maximize asset utilization within the Northwest Peninsula, the Chaguaramas Development Authority (CDA) is issuing an Expression of Interest (EOI) seeking submissions from suitably qualified corporate entities and investors to lease/license a vacant parcel containing a reinforced concrete platform within the Granwood Industrial Estate.

The Authority seeks to identify capable partners to utilize this site for suitable industrial, logistics, or commercial purposes. The available parcel size is approximately 2 acres, featuring an existing concrete platforms (approx. 30,000 sq. ft.) suitable for immediate industrial use, including but not limited to laydown storage, modular warehousing, or marine support services.

Successful proponents will be responsible for securing, outfitting, and managing the site in compliance with all Town & Country and CDA regulations. Proponents are expected to undertake any necessary site rehabilitation and promotion of their operations to ensure a sustainable business model that complements the existing industrial ecosystem of Chaguaramas.

The intention of the CDA is to identify a shortlist of persons/entities for engagement, based on the evaluation of submitted detailed technical and financial proposals.

 1. Registration:  Interested proponents will be required to send an email to 

                             cda.procurement@chaguaramas.com, subsequent to which the package will be 

                             received. Proponents will also be required to register/pre-qualify their                

                             organizations as a proponent with the CDA.

2. Mandatory Site Visit: A mandatory site visit to the Granwood Valley parcel will then be 

                              conducted. Only registered proponents and those who have received 

                              packages will be allowed to attend. 

Schedule:

• Site Visit Date: The site visit will be conducted on March 5, 2026  at 10:00 am.
• Meeting Point: The junction of Western Main Road and First Avenue North, Chaguaramas (Granwood Entrance).

Submission Requirements: Submissions must include an original and two (2) copies of the EOI and must be submitted no later than 3:00 pm on March 20, 2026 to CDA’s Head Office compound located at Airways Road, Chaguaramas. Details of the submission requirements are outlined within the package available upon request.
