Golf In Chaguaramas

 The Chaguaramas Golf Course is a 9 hole course and the only public Golf Course in the twin island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. 

 Nestled between the hills of Chaguaramas amidst tropical vegetation in the scenic Tucker valley is the idyllic Chaguaramas public golf course. Away from the noise and confusion of the city, the course is located just off the main Tucker Valley Road on the way to Macqueripe beach. The area of the course, from the second to the sixth holes was built over the old tonka bean plantation. It included some mature and splendid tonka bean trees that are well over 100 years of age. 

This 39 hectares facility was built by American servicemen during their occupation of the north west peninsula in World War II. 

High handicappers and novices can take heart from generous fairways and and an absence of a punishing rough. Even if nature intervenes as it often does in the tropics, the Chaguaramas Golf Course, because of it's excellent drainage system, has a distinction of being one of those courses on which play can be resumed within a short while after heavy rainfall.

 The Chaguaramas Golf Course Club House, has an open air lounge area, which ideal for cocktail parties, dinners and functions. The bar is set in a pleasant , relaxing and professional layout. There are restrooms and changing rooms for your convenience.  The golf course has a spacious car park which has a capacity of up to 134 vehicles.
