EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (EOI)

    As the statutory body charged with the development of the Northwest Peninsula, the Chaguaramas Development Authority (CDA) invites experienced culinary entrepreneurs, facility managers, and food service operators. This initiative aims to transform key coastal locations into vibrant, high-quality Food Yard experiences that reflect the unique cultural and environmental heritage of Chaguaramas.

The CDA is seeking to optimize its existing assets, which include a fleet of vending trailers, while also providing a structured opportunity for private investment in local micro-entrepreneurship, targeting owners of food trucks/vending trailers who seek a strategic location for generating revenue. As the Northwest Peninsula is a popular area for recreation, eco-tourism, commercial and industrial activity, the high levels of foot traffic provide ample opportunity for investors who are interested in providing culinary tourism experiences for consumers.

The EOI covers five (5) distinct locations, with the following characteristics:

• Zoning:  Resort Residential      land use.
• Topography:  Flat, and well-drained.
• Accessibility:  Easily accessible off main      road networks
• Utilities:  Essential service      infrastructure exists (Water, Electricity)

The Tenant/Licensee will be granted a license to either an existing vending trailer or an available spot in the target area, inclusive of space to situate the vending infrastructure and for patron queueing.

The EOI package will be available via email request to cda.procurement@chaguaramas.comfrom May 14th 2026 (excluding weekends and public holidays), between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
